Here are a few from last weekend: noah, I could not find land I was drawing on the train this morning, working on a whistling teakettle in a kitchen full of sparrows. I was absorbed in making the wing of one little bird sitting on the faucet when a man asked me “what are you drawing?” He was very interested in the drawing and gave me his card. He’s a magazine editor and he said he needs drawings now and then for his publications. Honestly, it’s the best thing that’s happened to me in a long time! I’m very happy. Maybe my dumb sketches are really worth something.
