futurebird's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- turn the tide I remember I went to this art exhibit once where you "voted" on different questions by making as much noise as you could. There was a noise meter and the guy would ask "who votes 'yes'? "and people would scream . .. "Who votes 'no'?" same deal. All of the questions were rather philosophical At last they asked "is history made by the contributions of many people or can one person change the tide?" I have always thought that one person can change the tide of history so I screamed at the top of my lungs . . . and frankly if I hadn't the 'yes' side wouldn't have won. So, I changed the tide of history in answering the question as an outstanding individual. Thus proving my point!
