pink
on the way home from a party in astoria
Pink is the edgiest hue I can think of. For example, (most of the time) men CAN'T ever have it on-- if women have it on it means there're superficial. Pink is-- down right dangerous. Everyone can put on black, but only a few can ever touch pink. I think any man or woman who is always in pink it pretty bold.
I used to be a "hard edge girl"-- but then I saw that the real edge was in the one thing I'd never dared to do: buy a pink dress and keep on being the same hardass I've always been, but in pink. They hardly ever see it coming.
The only shade that still scares me is hot pink-- even for me, hot pink is too powerful. I will leave it for men and women with stronger wills who live further west in our great land (where the sun sets, I'm told, in just that bloody color, almost every night)
