How is it done? You leave and dawn, step on one train then another. Fall down town. Take 4 trains each day. Think nothing of it. You know the connections by heart. You know the right door and where the steps are. You know what's closed off for the tile man. Shrink this island till it's 20 minutes long. Scoff at the boatpeople and the pathpeople and the bus-n-trackers. You are already there. You don't commute. You shift.
